📍 Zhejiang ⏱ 5 Days / 4 Nights 🏷 Family · Culture · West Lake
Day 1

Hangzhou Arrival — West Lake at Sunset

Private transfer from Hangzhou East Railway Station or airport. Check into your lakeside boutique hotel. Evening stroll along Broken Bridge — the most romantic spot on West Lake — as the pagodas light up against the dusk sky. Welcome dinner of Hangzhou classics: Dongpo Pork, West Lake Vinegar Fish, and Longjing Shrimp.

Day 2

West Lake Full Day — Temples, Tea & Boat Ride

Morning at Lingyin Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in China, with a private guide to decode the ancient carvings. Then a scenic drive to the Dragon Well (Longjing) tea plantations for a hands-on picking and brewing experience — children love the lush green terraces. Afternoon: a traditional wooden rowboat across West Lake, stopping at Three Peaks to see the famous "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon" at close range. Free evening on Hefang Street.

Day 3

Xiangshan & Fengjing Ancient Towns

Journey into the Jiangsu-Zhejiang borderlands. Morning in Xiangshan (not to be confused with the Beijing suburb), a former residence of the Hong family from the Qing Dynasty. Wander through the Qing-era streets, watch traditional craftsmen at work, and sample sweet and savory pastries at family-run stalls. Afternoon visit to Fengjing, one of the "top ten water towns" — quieter than Wuzhen, with canals lined by fig trees and old men playing chess by the water. Return to Hangzhou for overnight.

Day 4

Tongli Canal Town — Night in a Ming-Era Garden

Drive to Tongli, a UNESCO World Heritage water town built around a network of canals during the Song Dynasty. Visit the Retreat & Reflection Garden (Tui Zhan Yuan), one of the most famous classical gardens in China — your guide will explain the philosophy of borrowed scenery. Lunch at a canal-side restaurant. Afternoon at leisure: kids can try rowing a small boat, parents can explore the silk museum. Evening in a restored Ming-era courtyard hotel — an extraordinary experience for the whole family.

Day 5

Suzhou Departure — Silk & Science

Morning visit to the Suzhou Silk Museum — learn how silk is woven from cocoon to bolt in an interactive exhibition that fascinates children and adults alike. Stop by Pingjiang Road, the most beautifully preserved ancient street in Suzhou. Afternoon departure: private transfer to Suzhou North Station or Hangzhou airport. Trip concludes.
